Heads Up From Elsa P: December 15, 2011, Class, Trash and Balance

Published: Thu, 12/15/11

We've got smooth sailing for the rest of the work week with Mercury direct and the Moon involved in a grand trine. It's just what we need this time of year.

The plot thickens on Saturday when the Moon clashes with the Sun in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries. Both men and women are unpredictable and may be either detached or more aggressive then normal.

In contrast, we have Venus in Capricorn squaring Saturn in Libra.  The planets are in mutual reception but make no mistake:  This aspect demands decorum in social situations so don't blow up in public unless you're prepared to absorb the consequences which will probably be harsh.  On the flip side, if you have a reputation for being mannerly and doing right by others, you should enjoy a lot of support at this time.

Sunday and Monday, the Moon is in Libra which emphasizes the importance of playing well with others. Class is class and trash is trash and don't think people don't know the difference.

Tuesday there's a shift as the Moon enters Scorpio and Venus leaves Capricorn for Aquarius. These bodies are in harsh aspect as they transition and you may feel bitchy. If you can stop yourself from acting out, this would be smart as the feelings will be fleeting and this is not a climate where jerk behavior is appreciated or considered amusing.

We close out the week in an emotional fog as the Moon in Scorpio squares Neptune. There is tension as Venus in Aquarius squares both Jupiter and Saturn. Many will feel impulses (Aquarius) to overspend (Jupiter) alternating with impulses to save for a rainy day (Saturn). Ideally you'll balance this but don't ask me how!
