It's a dramatic week, full of potential.The solar eclipse occurs early Friday morning. The eclipse deserves special attention because it coincides with the cardinal grand cross which dominates this week as it did the last. By that, I mean the solar eclipse is part of the grand cross and with these two phenomena colliding, everything these planets are concerned with will be massively emphasized. The better you understand how these things work, the better you'll fare so I'll try to break it down.

 

The sun is eclipsed by the new moon which represents new beginnings. In the US, you're going to wake to the solar eclipse on Friday morning so plan ahead (Saturn) for some kind of fresh start.

 

To pull in the energy of the grand cross, you should ideally incorporate all the planets involved.  This is not that hard to do. We're talking about Saturn, Uranus, and Pluto... along with the Sun and Moon that make up the eclipse itself. Here are some ideas:

 

Control (Saturn) your ego (Sun) to heal (Pluto) and liberate (Uranus) your family (Moon). 

 

Free (Uranus) yourself from the fear (Saturn) of accessing your deep drives (Pluto) and emotion (Moon) to revitalize your life.

 

Reinvent (Uranus) yourself (Sun) as a powerful (Pluto), emotionally (Moon) grounded (Saturn) person..

 

You can see how the pieces of the puzzle beg to be put together in a way that will enhance your life. I expect many will do exactly that.  However, I am less confident of a good result on a societal level as this is such a high pressure situation.

 

Contents under pressure seek release and while a person can control themselves on personal level, they cannot control others. Uranus signifies rebellion. With Uranus in hard aspect to Pluto, it is possible we see a dark force go rogue. It not necessary to be paranoid but if you have a gut sense something is up, err on the side of caution.

 

Good news for the weekend! We have the Moon and Mercury in Leo so it's a great time to run around and be seen being shiny.  Even if you're the type who thinks making a spectacle of yourself is gauche, most can appreciate entertainment on some level and if not - too bad!

 

Try to have your mind straight by Wednesday because its intense. It's right about here than Venus moves into aspect with Pluto so old lovers begin to surface. People are almost always disturbed when Venus and Pluto clash but this time time Saturn and Uranus are involved and it's going to be quite harsh for many.
