We enter a difficult period this week that will last through the end of August. To avoid gratuitous suffering, adjust your expectations.

 

There will be pressure on everyone, worldwide with people who have planets at the very late degrees of the Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces) or very early degrees of the Cardinal signs (Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn) taking the brunt of it.

 

You can groan if you want but we are talking about 5 weeks or so; not that long in the scheme of things and as is the case whenever there is a lot of energy available, great gains are possible. There will also be days of relative respite here and there and if you make a point of enjoying them, this time will pass faster and seem less egregious.

 

The days going into the weekend are harsh. Friday in particular is a cold day of calculation. This will manifest as cruelty in some quarters but others will find the fortitude to make changes or do things they've resisted or find frightening or even repulsive but know are necessary. Bashing into wall after wall after wall convinces a person.

 

Saturday is busy as people assimilate and apply insight gleaned on Friday but Sunday there is a true calm after the storm that offers a chance to bank gains for recent efforts.

 

Monday, people detach and Tuesday we get some drama. This may stress some but if you can look at it as entertainment, that should help.

 

We end the week on a spectacularly sensitive note. If you are the type to criticize, this would be a good time to keep your mouth shut and direct your anger towards manifesting something in your own life rather than slicing and dicing the person nearby.

 

This is because many people are just too compromised or challenged to cope with criticism. If you force your agenda at this time, you are likely to see people disappear from your life, leaving you holding an empty bag.
