Heads Up From Elsa P: August 5, 2010 - The Plot Thickens, Things Speed Up And Cutthroat Love

This week the plot thickens. You might say things come to a head but if this is the case, they stay at a head for several more weeks which makes that a hard call.
There are several significant exact aspects this week so it is definitely prickly out there, particularly if you have planets at the very late degrees of the mutable signs or very early degrees of the cardinal signs.
On the bright side, we have a new moon in Leo on Monday and Venus leaving Virgo for it's home sign of Libra. These things will help.
There is no sense thinking in terms of the weekend. The week is like a stew that has come to a boil. It will stay that way as the ingredients mix and mingle and transform. The flavor shifts throughout the week but at no time does stew become turkey.
There is an upside to this as it lets a person focus and there will be no shortage of things to focus upon. Space and freedom vs security of relationship is one of the themes and the issue is complicated for many as they will be dealing with lovers from the past, "corpses", whether they show up in person, or just in the heart or mind.
Love is somewhat cutthroat right now. People who believe there is not enough love or money to go around may compete for your love or try to extract resources in various ways that are devious. You can see this in the news and in the private lives around you. Many believe that all is fair in love and war so keep that in mind.
From another angle, we've got skeletons falling from closets, left and right throughout the month of August. Be ready to clean up. Watch, as many will be thrust head-first into their un-comfort zone, shocked to learn they have dark feelings, never mind the extent of them. People at home with their shadow fare best. Some will consider themselves to be in their element.
Saturn has been in Virgo, slowing the transfer of information over the last couple months. If you have have been frustrated waiting for something to happen or watching things unfold at a snail's pace over these last few months, you'll see progress now. For most this is positive even if the going is rough.
