I have a client who tends to manufacture all kinds of unlikely scenarios, and worry about them.

"I'm splitting hairs with you, because I know you like to split hairs," I said.

"Thank you," he said, smartly.

"But in reality, none of this is going to happen," I explained. The client had known the girl he was obsessing over long enough to be able to predict her behavior. Three months.

"You call me a few times and have a certain kind of interaction.  You call me a few more times and have the same kind of interaction.  After a while, you can predict what's going to happen if you call me. You know my character."

The girl in question is kind, intelligent and well-mannered. She has a Libra Moon. So when he asks me if she is going to start taking without reciprocating, my answer is "obviously not!"

She answers every gesture he makes with one of her own. She's done this consistently for three months. The nature of the exchange is established.

Is life this simple? To a large degree, it is. Understanding this can be incredibly empowering (Pluto)... and liberating (Uranus).

The concept of "knowing who you're dealing with" is an old one. It's tried and true.  So how can you apply it?

Get a natal report...theirs.. It'll give you a basic, accurate outline of a person's character. If you read it, carefully, without bias, you'll have a good, objective idea who you're dealing with.  You can then learn to predict behavior and avoid calling me for things like this... unless you just like talking to me, which is fine too!
