"What's wrong with people?" I asked my husband. "They keep writing me to tell me how bad I look. What in the world would possess someone to do that? I don't care if I look bad. I am not selling my appearance. I said this! Yet they feel compelled to write me and tell me that I look like shit."

"You could look like Frankenstein. He had a following."

I laughed.

"Some people liked him. Some chased him with torches and pitchforks.  Or you could be Mrs. Frankenstein. She had that big hair," he said.
