Heads Up From Elsa P: July 12, 2012 - Uranus and Mercury Go Retrograde, New Moon In Cancer
Published: Thu, 07/12/12
Expect people to be tweaked as the cardinal T-square involving Mars,
Uranus and Pluto dominates the sky heading into the weekend. This is
powerful, potent energy that will be with us all month.. The effects will be amplified at this time, because Uranus
is stationary, preparing to turn retrograde on Friday.
People will be prone to take risks under this sky. It's
potentially quite dangerous and I've outlined what to watch for as well
as what to expect during the Uranus retrograde period here.
If you want to talk about these issues or anything else, please schedule a phone appointment or contact me for an email consult.
Mercury turns retrograde on Saturday but this is a happier story..
Creative types will benefit, as will Mercury-ruled Gemini and Virgo.
This is because Mercury in Leo is well aspected at this time and the
station of the planet really heightens the effect. We also have the
Moon, Venus and Jupiter in Gemini through Sunday so all Mercurial things
like writing, thinking, neighbors and siblings are all highly favored.
There is a distinct shift when planets go retrograde and with the
two retrogrades happening so close together, it makes sense to
assimilate the new playing field. Both Sunday and Monday show an
emphasis on the air signs which will offer most a chance to breathe. You
can use these days to socialize and acclimate to the change.
I say "most" because the T-square is still in effect and if you
have personal planets impacted by it (7-8 degrees cardinal), you're
probably in some kind of jam. This does not mean you can't access the
good stuff. You can and you probably should.
By Monday night, the Moon enters its home sign, Cancer. It's happy
in the sign but not going to like being hit by Mars, Uranus and Pluto
as it fills in the T-square to create a grand cross. This creates
tremendous stress which will be sustained through Tuesday.
Wednesday, things ease some as the Moon moves
out or orb of the T-square. But people remain highly sensitive as the
Moon in Cancer applies toward conjunction with the Sun (new moon) around
midnight.
The New Moon squares exalted Saturn in Libra. This offers a great chance to support your family, shore up your security and ground your emotions via social commitment. Get details here.
Thanks and best wishes for a great week,
