Teeth Kicked Down My Throat

Published: Wed, 11/29/17

I have to admit, things are going my way even if I feel my teeth kicked down my throat, at least once a day. Saturn transits are like this!

It really doesn't matter if you're doing the right thing.  You're going to be tested.

Your boundaries will be tested.
Your commitment will be tested.
Your patience will be tested.

This is particularly true at the moment, with Mars in detriment in harsh aspect to Uranus and Pluto.  People want to challenge one another. They want to push them and prevail over them. They want to contain and control them.  They also want what they want, F - A -S - T.

Most people rebel under this kind of strain. They also want to give it right back.  Mars in Libra. You do this and then I'll to do this other thing. Then you do this and then I'll do this other thing. Tit for tat as the both parties go down in flames!

Truly, I'm punch drunk if not beaten to a pulp at this point, however; things are progressing and even if the progress is grotesque in some way, it's also divine.

This makes me think of Michelangelo, painting the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel pressure from the Pope Julius II. From History.com:

"...In 1509, an increasingly uncomfortable Michelangelo described the physical strain of the Sistine Chapel project to his friend Giovanni da Pistoia. “I’ve already grown a goiter from this torture,” he wrote in a poem that was surely somewhat tongue-in-cheek. He went on to complain that his “stomach’s squashed under my chin,” that his “face makes a fine floor for droppings,” that his “skin hangs loose below me” and that his “spine’s all knotted from folding myself over.”

I bet a lot of you reading this can also relate.  But the weekend is coming, and things will improve.

We can also look ahead to the full supermoon in Gemini that takes place Sunday morning, on December 3rd.
