Scorpio ruler Pluto will square the Sun and Mercury over the next couple days.  This aspect is very tight, 16-17 degrees.

Scorpio co-ruler Mars is tightly conjunct Venus, square Saturn and opposite Chiron. Locked and loaded.

I don't mean that in a way that's insensitive to the numerous people who have been shot and wounded recently. Instead, I'm thinking about intensity and focus, which is a neutral concept.

For example, hopefully your surgeon concentrates when applying a scalpel to your skin and making a cut.
Or hopefully your astrologer is staring at your chart when you call for your consultation!

The mind (Mercury) and the vital life energy (Sun) are potently (Pluto) bound together at this time. I chose to start my Saturn in Capricorn workshop today on purpose.  I'm not a lightweight astrologer playing games.

Matter of fact, these planets aspect my natal Mars and Mercury.  I'm driven to be concentrated and effective. It's very different from going on and on and on and on and on.
