The Adirondack Chair

Published: Wed, 05/03/17

I was in the checkout line at Aldi when some old gal (older than me) came walking up to the cashier with a huge, black Adirondack chair. She must have really wanted the thing, because the store had only been open for ten minutes.

"I can't fit this in my car," she told the gal at the checkout stand. I thought back to the two Adirondack chairs that flew from the back of my truck one day because I failed to tie them down. If I had my truck, I could have helped her. But I have a small car too.

The next thing I knew, the cashier was standing up, holding a pen and paper. "Well, I'll tell you what.  You give me your address, ma'am. I get off at three o'clock and when I do, I will bring your chair to ya," she said. "I have a station wagon," she said to me, winking at me. "I can get anything in there."

The woman with the chair accepted this offer. She was not overly thankful, though she certainly did not expect this. But the fact is, people are nice around here. They help each other if they can.

I want to mention this because according to the internet everything and everyone is awful. Not true!

Mercury will turn direct today, in fire sign Aries. He's conjunct Uranus, trine Saturn in Sagittarius and the Moon in Leo.

That adds up to a grand trine in fire. This is a day to go and do, to shine (Leo) and give (Sagittarius) and do the right thing (Saturn) if you have the impulse (Aries)!

Class starts in a week. How To Use Astrology To Solve Problems / Get What You Want.  I'm working on this now, far enough into it to know that it's going be great. So if you're on the fence, I would definitely join.

Have a great day,
