Mars will conjunct Pluto today, exact at 15 degrees Capricorn.  The word flashpoint came to mind when I wrote that. I think it's wrong!

Fires (Mars) don't rage in the dirt (Capricorn). They don't fare well underground (Pluto) either. They're starved of oxygen! That said, I don't think Mars will be frustrated.

Mars is exalted in Capricorn.  Mars and Pluto are bound as co-rulers of Scorpio. This conjunction will help a person focus their effort towards a goal. It's all about discipline.

Granted, Uranus in Aries and the Sun and Mercury in Libra pressure the conjunction. I think this is okay as Pluto is adept at transforming the energy of others.

Ultimately, some may go off on a (self) destructive rage. But if you have the ability to control yourself, er... to keep your shit (Pluto) together, you can expect some kind of breakthrough today.

I'm going with the latter, no doubt about it.  I'd rather run like a Lamborghini than drive 'round with nuts and bolts and wheels fallin' off, never mind the fluids spewing all over myself and others.
