I don't know that you can judge a year by its first day, but if this is possible, 2016 looks dynamic.

We've got these forward-looking planets in Sagittarius with the work ethic (Saturn) to back it up.

We have Mercury in Aquarius which promises ideas ahead of their time. This is provided you can grab them when they flare up, before they fade out which happens quickly.

We also have a cardinal t-square which invariably sees people wanting to take control. You can see what I mean by "dynamic".  Hard to grab ideas when you're busy bossing people around!

We also have Jupiter in Virgo which inspires people to be industrious and helpful. Are you busy yet?

Luckily, I don't think you can judge a year by its first day. If stressed today, remember it's just one day and there are 364 others this year.
