As bad as that sounds, both planets are in their own signs. Mark one in the plus column! But note that Mars is still retrograde. This frustrates a person.
Mars inverted brings depression. Basically, you don't want Mars energy to back up on you. Depression (of the non-organic type) is essentially, anger turned inward.
