A Virgo client emailed me a list of questions for a consultation. This person specifically wanted to understand their Sun in the 12th house.
I emailed back to suggest it might be
worth checking the solar return since their birthday was near. "What's your current city?" I asked.
"Neptune," the client answered efficiently. I guffawed. Seriously, that's the name of their city.
It was wonderfully pleasant to tell this person they were in fact living in the 12th
house. Is astrology great or what?
I haven't written a lot about Neptune in Pisces opposing Virgo. This might be because it's not been that difficult a transit, at least not recently. For one thing, Neptune is well placed in its home sign. But beyond that, Jupiter in Scorpio has really eased things over the last year or so. Scorpio is friendly to both Virgo and Pisces.
Prior to this, the Uranus Pluto square caused such shock and pain and jarring change that effects of the Neptune transit went unnoticed in large part. The only time it really came up was when a client had all three outer planets significantly transiting their chart simultaneously.
Jupiter's ingress into Sagittarius
will eventually expand Neptune's effects, but Jupiter is happy in his home sign. It looks to me like Virgo has cut a break here and will continue to do so.
Gemini is in a similar circumstance; I don't mean to leave you out. But you didn't hire me and send me a funny email, so you missed out on the headline.
